Making it easy to compare and select

Maryland small group health insurance plans are offered by insurance companies approved by the State of Maryland to provide the level of benefits you want to offer your workforce. Maryland Health Connection makes it easy for you and your employees to understand the options, so they can review, compare and enroll in a plan that best meets their needs.

Side-by-side comparison of health plansThe SHOP allows you and your employees to do side-by-side comparisons of health plans based on benefits, premiums and out-of-pocket costs. SHOP Direct Enrollment for Maryland small businesses began in April 2014.

We recognize that each business owner’s needs are different. Maryland small group health insurance offers four levels of options—bronze, silver, gold and platinum—to make it easier for both you and your employees to compare plans.

Maryland Health Connection helps ease the process of selecting the right plans to offer your employees an array of health coverage features and benefits. We provide dedicated support ready to answer your questions and guide you through every step of plan selection.
